Well, Thanksgiving at our home was a joyous affair! Family scattered throughout the house… favorite foods abounding. It was nice for the hubby to have some time off of work.
I am hoping to get into the swing of posting more frequently. So much is going on in the world. I occasionally have trouble keeping up! I am hoping that writing about some of it here will help me.
Christmas is my favorite time of year, and I love to hear people call out “Merry Christmas!”
Our decorations are up. The children had fun putting the ornaments on the tree.
I am hoping to get some baking started with them. With all the hustle and bustle of the season-and it seems to get worse every year!- I want them to grow up truly knowing that this is meant to be a season of GIVING because we are celebrating the greatest GIFT ever given.

Ugh. Decorating for Christmas is NOT my favorite thing!! Don’t get me wrong – I love the season, and I love for my house to be decorated, I just hate to get it all put together. I need some of those little elves that come out at night and do stuff…
heehee…if you happen upon any elves maybe you could share? I am sure distance would be of no consequence to them
But I do understand… were I single I am not sure which avenue I would pursue- go all-out crazy with the decor or just do nothing at all… reveling in all the lights and pretties I pass each day.
